Does anyone know the status of Brunswick Records? Their website lists a few 2004 releases- 2 cd essential & definitive collections that have yet to materialize....

Brunswick Records is still in business - their headquarters are here in NYC.
The current 2CD set they have on the market is "The Brunswick Years Vol. One" that was issued in 1995.
There will be a Brunswick Top 40 R&B Hits anthology available within the next couple of months - I wrote the liner notes for that collection.

Hi Kev, I have & enjoy that live Young-Holt lp but I was wandering if the cd has either new material or if there was anything done to the tapes to make them sound better... also curious as to when/ where it was recorded, I assume before 'Soulful Strut' which isn't on there...
