Corn,
The only Bobby Montgomery I heard of if this is the same person. The Bobby Montgomery I know is a jazz musician who's brothers are Wes (guitar), Monk (bass, piano) and I think Bobby is an drummer. All three bros have recorded about 2-3 lp's together. I don't know, If this is the same Bobby Montgomery whom you're speaking of, I'm not sure?

Corn,
I was referring to Jazz Legend Wes Montgomery and bro Monk Montgomery.

Hey Don: I don't know if we're talking about the same dude. I know nothing about the vocalist Bobby Montgomery on Generation Records other than what I read from the label.

I'm sure someone will fill us in on the dude eventually.

Bobby Montgomery also recorded for Vault. Two of his Vault cuts, "Tender Tears" (originally released on Vault 962) and "I'm Your Steppin' Stone" (Vault 960) were issued on the UK Kent CD of Vault/Autumn/Fat Fish material, "L.A. Happening".

Best,

Mark
