This singer had a single on A&M 715 (1963) "Please send me someone to love" (mayfield) / "How's the world treating you"(Atkins-Bryant). First side arranged by Gerald Wilson, the flip by Herb Alpert.

I note on the single it mentions on the flipside only "as featured on A&M LP 102.

Anyone care to add anymore info on George McCurn?

He was a former gospel singer - the Fairfield Four
and then The Pilgrim Travellers (with Lou Rawls)

There's a good bio on him at the All Music Guide
site

www.allmusic.com

then key in "George McCurn" in the search box

Yep, sang with Lou Rawls and J.W. Alexander in the Pilgrim Travelers - the Bass Man... Didn't know he ever went R&B, Corn...

Peace!
