Lady Medusa, I am asking if there was another label other than those that existed under the Motown umbrella, that featured 3 or more, more influential artists at the same time... Folk could get coy and say, Paul McCartney, Ringo, and John Lennon, but that's not what I after... I am actually talking about individual artists who have INFLUENCED other artists as the Smokey, Marvin, and Stevie did... Not just good artists, but very influential artists, who did revolutionary things with their music and sound...

Peace!
Isaiah

The "Abraham, Martin & John" of Music:

Zeke is "right on" about both things!! Smokey, Marvin & Stevie are the ultimate trio on one record label and at the same time. Secondly, The Beatles were one artist (not 3 or 4). After they split up, they were no longer all on the same label! Remember... John and Yoko Ono!?
