Last month, Clay McMurray put an article on here concerning the passing of my brother Mike Harris. What Clay did not say, was that music was Mike's life. He had sang with a number of different groups. "The LoveMakers" recording of "When you're next to me" was listed in the top ten of Billboard Magazine. He went on to sing with the "ASWADS' and R.S.V.P. And at the time of his death, was getting ready to do a CD with the
"Different Shades Of Brown" that was being produced by Clay. But I think Mike's greatist moment was when he sang with the "Temptations" in Cleveland Ohio. He came home with pictures of himself with Otis. As Clay said, Mike had a sound that was unique, not just because he was my brother, but simply put, "The man could sing". And I was so PROUD to say "That's my brother". We intend to keep his memory alive by starting a scholarship fund in his name, in hopes that some deserving young person can get help with their intents on furthering their musical career. Keep our family in prayer
