Modern Man had a album on Saturn in 1986 which was all covers of Blue Notes' or Teddy P's songs.

Cornbread,
Was this a British act?

If so, I once knew the bass player and he played ojn some cuts with me in London in '86.

His name was Colin.

Hi Bobby: I don't think this is the British group.Saturn was based in Greensburgh, PA. The record was actually a 12" single of medleys. producer was Tom Cossie.

Sampson & Delilah were also on the label.

Ok!!
I used to know Tom Cossie when he was at RCA in the seventies.
Il check it out.
Maybe Don Garvin the guitarist from Pittsburg from the PBS shows may know, as he owns the only decent recording studio(Jeree)in the Pittsburgh area which covers Greensberg.

BTW, I did a gig with the Vibrations in that town in '72.

I sure do get around dont I?

Next time youre at the Vatican, ask someone who is that guy wearing the robe up on the balcony with Bobby Eli!!(smile)
