TOP 5 MADNESS! LOL. If you can't beat em you might as well join em! At least I don't have to limit my favorites on this topic to only Motown recordings. Kim Weston also recorded some excellent material after her stint in Detroit. Here are my favs:

1) GOODNESS GRACIOUS
2) WE TRY HARDER with Johnny Nash
3) IT TAKES TWO with Marvin Gaye
4) WHEN SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY BABY
5) THAT'S GROOVY

Hey Don- I didn't know Kim also did "Play It Cool, Stay In School". I've only heard the Brenda Holloway version. That one is fantastic, I'd love to hear Kim's version. Has it been issued on CD?

I actually prefer the handful of post-Motown recordings that I've heard by Kim. Has anyone ever bothered to put a collection of her MGM, Banyan Tree, Stax, Mikim, etc. recordings on a CD? Thanks.

My KIM of WESTON Favourite Songs:

1) "IT TAKES TWO" {w/ Marvin}

2) "Helpless"

3) "Take Me In Your Arms (Rock Me For A Little While)"

4) "Looking For The Right Guy"

5) "It Should Have Been Me" {pre-Gladys}

P.S. For Don (3/31 entry): "Play It Cool, Stay In School" was a P.S.A. song not by Kim, but by Miss Brenda Holloway!
