I like the way Dave's having a little fun with Janet. She's not really saying too much, she needs to loosen up. He's trying to work with her & she's kind of being monosyllabic. I'm a little disappointed with her, he's trying to give her some hype & she's saying next to nothing. I love Janet, but she's coming across as a bit of an airhead. Let's put it this way, either she's shell shocked or simply trying to play it safe, she's usually not so defensive. I don't think that she's quite over the Superbowl fiasco. This was the worst interview that she's ever given. If she was on the show to promote her CD, she did a lousy job of it. This would be a textbook example of what NOT to do when you're trying to promote yourself. I love Janet to death but, that was a waste of 10 minutes.

I hear what you are saying, but you also got to remember that she's been in the business for a long time and has either had her words twisted around or has seen them get twisted around. But I do agree that she has to loosen up.
