By the way, Common, I do have a few pics of me as the 6th Temptation. However, due to litigation, I cannot post those pics. I'm not even allowed to use the title "The Former 6th Temptation". In fact, I can make no reference to the group at all. People always talk about Mr Best & Murray The K even called himself "The 5th Beatle". What no one ever told you is that I was actually "The Black Beatle". In fact, that was going to be the name, inspired by my Soulful speaking voice. However, my computer won't let me upload these pics. I guess that you'll have to take my word for it. However, as you have seen, I AM MUSIC & I was there...really....I was????

Dinelle, what I did was use a photo editing program, edited the pictures, merged them & finally figured out how to resize them. I need to find out the proper procedure for posting photos, sources, etc. However, until I get clearfance right, you'll have to settle for this one from our LP cover. You'll know us right away!

I'm glad that you enjoyed them. I'm still waiting on our friend to post the pictures. Thanks David & Ralph for indulging me regarding the humor

This is part 2 of my story of my days with The Five Shadows. We had one more LP as The Five Shadows. We started out ok, the brothers were satisfied with being in the shadows at first. All of a sudden, the brothers didn't want to be in the shadows no more. Now they wanted solos & private jets & women. They said that no one ever recognized them. I asked them what did they expect, they were in the shadows. They thought that they were bigger than the group. So, in the spirit of fairness, I let them come out of the shadows. They couldn't handle the spotlight & that was that. Now, they want a reunion tour...not gonna happen! They almost ruined my career Coming next, my uplifting, triumphant return to music!!!!

Okay, you're right, they are kinda ugly. I'm working on learning Photoshop. It's a bit awkward, but I'm taking babysteps here. I know that they're a bit ugly but, after all of those years that I spent DJing, working for the P.O., not to mention all of the years that I spent abusing Pepsi & Newports, I'm doing the best that I can. Kinda reminds me of the line of a very popular 70s song, to paraphrase: Too much Pepsis, too much song, wonder how I got along!

Let me explain something to you Spookey. My doctor has me doing these types of things after...the event. I really don't want to get into that here, it's too painful to think about. Let's put it this way: how well would you do if you had a lazy left eye & a two fingers that have a permanent 45 degree bend in them. How do you think that you'd do Spookey, well how would you do? Do you think that's funny? I asked you, do you find that funny Spookey?? Well guess what, I don't think that it's funny at all. It's a sad day when someone can come on board here on the forum & make fun of a person. That's just not cool.

Just when I thought that you were a cool guy & all, you now go & toss out insults at a individual with handicaps. Do you think that's fair Spookey, I never ever insulted you & this is how you choose to treat the Juiceman??? You're not right Spookey, you're just not right. So what's next, maybe you can make fun of little blind ladies crossing the street, or, maybe one leg butt kicking contests. Maybe, just maybe, we can have a good laugh at Jerrys kids, maybe you'd find that funny too.

Brother Spookey, I've given you props here on the forum. People told me & I quote: "Spookey's full of dog defication (Word changed to avoid censorship), he doesn't have any pictures." Me & my stupid self replies that Spookey was legit, people have told me about his pictures. Even though you NEVER posted them, I stuck up for you. On another ocassion someone stated & I quote: "Spookey's just a legend in his own mind, he's full of horse manure (word edited again to avoid censorship), he'll never post any pictures". Yet again, I stuck up for you. I told them that reputable sources have told me that Spookey has those pictures.

On a THIRD occasion, someone posted & again I quote: "Spookey's full of horse fertilizer (word once again changed to protect the innocent), he doesn't have any pictures to post." YET AGAIN, I took up for you! Even though I NEVER SAW ANY of your wonderful pictures, I still spoke up for you & your newsletter. I told them that there were people who told me that Spookey was indeed legit. Now, after a stressful day at my doctor, I come home to read your post dogging me??? Man, you ain't right, you ain't right at all. You'll see the next damn time I speak up for you. Man, after having people laugh at me for taking up for you, you print some BS like this, with a handicap & all, you dare to make fun of me???

That's cool brother, that's cool. That hurts & that's not fair. People have feelings & you should be aware of that. Stonewall knows that I gave you props & then you go & deficate (word changed to protect me)all up on my head. Brother, I know that I have a receeding hairline & it's Spring & all. Besides, if I were to post a picture like that, the light on the monitor would go out. As I've had a long tiring day at work, that's too much heavy lifting, so I'd have to pass on that. As always seems to happen, yet again glory was stolen away from me. As usual, no one gave me any credit. Again, my name was erased from music history, as there was much jealousy surrounding me. No one even told you about the 6th one did they?? Well, did they??? Well, today with my new implement, I will transport you back to the good old days. I will bring you proof of my genius that you cannot dispute. Here's a photo from my earlier years:

Yes, it is I & yes, I was The Sixth Temptation. Here were are in living semi-sepia. I believe that it was mid-winter of 19 hundred & (I think I'm going to regret this)69. (NO WISECRACKS ANYONE!!!) I was in the third grade or so. These brothers came to town & were looking for a new & exciting voice. The J5 had just hit, the kiddie sound was in & I was bought in to augment the sound, so to speak. Being as how I could dance & had my James Brown skills in tact, the brothers put me down.

Naturally, came the jealousy & envy from the fellas. They called me Babyface Juice & again, I was the original with that too. Even all those years later, someone came along to steal my shine. Yet I digress... Anyway, first a certain brother wanted to know why I got all of the honeys. The girlies used to thrown their bus passes at me & all that. They'd bring me all the potato chips, cookies & soda a lil brother could want. Then there were the older ladies.....AAAHHH! There's nothing like a 17 year old, mature woman to make a 9 year old smile. They'd rush the stage & hold me close to their bosoms. How could I resist them? To be 9 years old & a Tempt...What a life!

I thought that things were cool, but the brothers started hating on a lil fella. All of a sudden, the brothers started withholding my allowance & crap like that. I mean a nine year old has expenses & they were messing with my green. Suddenly my baseball cards were getting ripped up & I figured it must be some jealous kid. Maybe his mom held me to her bosom the night before, I didn't know what to think man.

Next my candy & stuff starts to go & I started to get a little pissed. I knew that the end was near, when someone tore the wheels off of my Sizzlers & dismembered my Talking Gi-Joe (with the kung-fu grip & lifelike hair). After two months of this bull, it started to get a bit heated & though I can't divulge what really went down, ah the hell with it, this is what happened. I asked where my baseball cards were, I wanted an accounting of all of my candy, cookies & interest on my allowance. And my Hot Wheels & stuff like that just disappeared & I wanted to know who had my toy stash. The brothers laughed at me like I was short or something, like I wouldn't slap the taste out of their mouth. They had the nerve to tell me: "We ain't got your allowance, or your toys. Just take these damn milk & cookies & shut the hell up".

I was devastated, a brother needs a lil movie money every now & then. I mean the brothers tried to play me. Come on, how's a lil brother gonna take a girl to the movie riding a damn Big Wheel by Marx?? They could at least saw that I had a respectable bike. Now that would've been sweet, me & a honey riding on a bike. At the least, they could've got me a low rider bike with the backrest & at least a damn Vrooom by Mattel. I mean a little brother like me could've let the girl sit on the banana seat & I could've been diggin' the scene with MY gangster lean..OOOH OOOOH. But NO! Not these brothers, not them.

I deserved my cut. I mean I'm dancing, singing & bringing them the young girls. I bought them the 6 to 15 year olds, but, the brothers couldn't handle it, talking 'bout jail bait & all. I couldn't stand the haterade & they couldn't compete with a nine year old stealing their spotlight. After much thought, I negotiated the safe return of my toys, cards & left. I decided to give it all up & go back to the 4th Grade. There seemed to be more maturity there. Besides, I was homesick & missed my family.

After that, I took a short hiatus from DA BIZ. I walked away with my head held high, I knew that I could've been bigger. Still, I let them continue to follow their rainbow. As for me, there was always Junior High School. The business left me with a sour taste in my mouth. While I enjoyed the biz, I had acquired a taste, a jones. I became seriously addicted to cookies, chips, candy & soda. Not only did I Have a monkey on my back, he brought the whole damn candy store with him: candy buttons, wax teeth, Big Daddy bubblegun, Zagnut, Fifth Avenue, Cola Jolly Ranchers, Wise potato chips, those stupid candy necklaces that would turn your neck different colors & accumulate lint, Three Musketeers, R.C Cola (with a twist), 7 Up & Pepsi. Yes, I had a Pepsi on my back & to this day, I struggle with my addictions. Let me tell you, there's no Chips Ahoy clinic to dry out at either.

New Temptin' Tempts Foto: I'll take the one on the rite; I already had two of the others. That Baby Juice w/ The Tempts is J-F's best pic yet. Of course, Spookey Ann (formerly Spookey Man) won't think so as she'd like to be in that photo herself. Musical problem is that the pic is for dudes only, not street hose. And big Juice-free, your words are very many and may be interesting and deeply philosophical; however, plz. don't transcend the transgender lines referring to Miss Spookie as a "gentleman of class". She's "neither one of us". She's a streetslut and class-less. To quote Gay Ricki, "She Bangs" or should I say, gets banged. Why she asked for a butt-naked pic of U, no one knows except she must wanna get beat up. S & M is on her menu! Besides, she would never see that side of the dude anyway. Being more versatile, I, on the other hand....

Let's get back to the MUSIC on this soon-to-be-former-butt-best Forum! U chose that famous pic which is also on the cover of the forthcoming THE SUPREMES 'n' THE TEMPTS "Joined Together".
