Since "the chitlin' circuit" has been a topic lately, I thought I'd pass on a few nice links on the matter:

The first is a review of Rhino's "chitlin' circuit" comp, featuring Bobby Bland, Shirley Brown, Tyrone Davis and a host of other artists. Bill Dahl wrote some great liner notes (it might take a while to download the link):
