In 1966 or 67, I did some recording at a Brian Dombrowski's house. Is this the same Brian? If so, I would like to contact him.

Brian checks in from time time I think he will see this, but this is why I answered that one question so that the topic would stay back near the top so he might see it.

I did see it. You are both correct. HOWEVER, I had another label called WHEEL'S-4. Most of the Wheel's product was recorded in the basement, on an AMPEX 351 (2) track, live. Which band were you in? There were a couple of other releases on band labels: MOLT and ISH-KOOM. Sound Impressions was at the very end.

None of the releases ever pressed more than 500 copies, so they are very rare. HOWEVER, most everything was released on a (3) CD compilation called "the Wheels-4 Story" on Cicadelic Records out of Philidelphia. Unfortunately, I lost (can't locate for the life of me) the only copy I had, and have been unable to locate the title, at the Cicadelic Records web site.

Also, I have heard that all of that compilation is available on an internet web-site on a pay per track basis. I saw the site, but don't remember its name. If you find any of the above, let me know.

Brian,

My name is Ted Cuda. I worked with Phil Gandolfo at Ron Henry Music Studio. We recorded at your house with a band called Gary and the knightbeats. I was the Bass player.Phil played Sax. We later changed our names to the Impacts. This would have been around 1966 or 67. WE did several sessions with with you. I don't imagine that you would still have any tape left on us. If you remember me, reply to my e-mail. I may have some info for you from the old days.

Ted

TED: Yes I remember. That was pre-Wheel's-4! That was very early on. I don't remember doing anything serious though. Then Phil went to NAM and came back un-alive. Most of the stuff I did came after that. Glad to hear you are well. My email is: bcd26780166@msn.com.
