Wow ..

Their 1973/74? single on Capitol "Your Sweet, Your Fine, Your Everything" is one of my all time favourite falsetto ballads. I can't believe I never mentioned it on that "falsetto" thread some months back. I think they were from New York, but I could be wrong.

I have another 45 by them on Mercury, but can't recall its title.

I'd also like to know what happened to this group.

"Your Sweet, You're Fine, Your Everything" is a bad jam, I have it on a lost soul compilation by Tomorrow's Promise. A truly lost gem.

I'm fortunate enough to have 2 copies of You're Sweet. I have their 45 on Mercury named You're Everything Good To Me b/w Should I Follow My Heart. The B-side is a gorgeous ballad, simply wonderful. They also had another cut on Capitol called That's The Way It Will Stay b/w The Only One For Me, which I can't find anywhere. They had just one charting record per year, from '73-'75. I don't understand why these brothers weren't more prominent. They were good! Furthermore, there seems to be no info on these fellas anywhere. Joel Whitburn doesn't even have info about them in his R&B books.

From what I understand they are from Baltimore. One afternoon in 1998 while playing You're Sweet on the air at WWIN FM, legendary Jock Curtis Anderson came in the studio and called the one of the members on the phone and we talked for hours.
The song can be found on Slow Jams: The Timeless Collection Vol. 7 (The Right Stuff 54485)

Hey Dave, glad to hear from you. Could you please tell me how to get in touch with Mr Anderson, or any of the guys. I would really like to hear their story. Most of us don't even know any of their names. I hope that you can help. Thanks!
