I ran into Maxayn Lewis at the Los Angeles Northern Soul Festival a few weeks ago. I really love the Mindful Lp and her other two albums as well. A friend of mine and I recently burned all three Lps on to CD, what great tracks. Did you know she was once a member of The Ikettes(Check out the cover of the Kent CD Fine, Fine, Fine, she is the girl furthest to the left, but she did not sing on any of the tracks on that CD. Maxayn also recorded a single or two under her real name Paulette Brown.
