Happy B-Day to Aretha Franklin, 62 & still going strong! Glad to hear that she is recovering! There are many, but ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONGS has to be Daydreaming(and I'm thinkin' of you). Something about that piano solo at the beginning and just the whole arrangement and structure of that song, no matter where I'm at when I hear it, makes me bob my head and sing!!!!
CAN I GET A WITNESS(LOL)??? Also, I have to give a shout to Reginald Dwight(aka Elton John), happy 47th. He has to be one of the most talented pianist/singer/songwriters ever!!! Does anyone remember "Mama Can't Buy You Love", from "The Complete Thom Bell Sessions"? I believe that single was released in '79, but the album was like '77. Anyway just giving a little props for some great artists and music!!!!
