Terry Huff is a very talented singer out of Washington, DC. Does anyone have any information on what he is doing today? And other then I destroyed Your Love and The Lonely One what are some other hits(if any) by Him/Them?

Hey ShermanB! Thanks for mentioning Terry & the gang. I'm with you, I would love some info about them. They started out as Act 1 & recorded 2 songs for Spring Records in 1972: Friends & Lovers & Takes Two Of Us. They went to Mainstream records, where they changed their name to SD. I loved The Lonely One, Why Doesn't Love Last, Poochie & Terry's solo songs: That's When It Hurts & Where There's A Will. These were on the Mainstream Label. What a group! They also had the ballads Oh, Let Me Know It (1977) & This Kind Of Love (1978) on Shield Records. I look forward to hearing more about Terry. They always reminded me of Skip Mahoney & The Casuals, also from DC. Here's a little info that I found about them: http://www.mmguide.musicmatch.com/artist/artist.cgi?ARTISTID=904818&TMPL=LONG#bio

Terry Huff had a single on an Indianapolis based label in the mid 80's. I can't put my hands on it now as my records are in a true mess. It was a white label. I think the title was "I wish".

The Terry Huff & Special Delivery album is top class.

I remember a record shop owner recommending it to me as a cut out a LONG time ago. I swayed when I saw his photo on the front cover, but never judge a book.....

"I destroyed your love" is another outstanding track.

Terry Huff and Special Delivery were very, very popular in the Detroit and Ohio areas in 1975-76. I Destroyed Your Love was the song everyone tried to sing at the time.
