I never heard of them, but judging from the personnel, it seems as though they were into Jazz-Funk.

Hey Juice: It ain't jazz-funk. It's soul. But to be truthful, I didn't make a connection with the songs. I wasn't feelin' it, but to each his own.

It's funny Cornbread, but when I see Joe Sample & Wilton Felder, I automatically think The Crusaders, even though I know that they did sessions for Soul artists. I've got to try to dig up some info on this group, now I'm curious about them.

If only I could lay my hands on a good copy of this one I'd be happy... It's been sitting on my wants list for over 12 years now... I either got unlucky or didn't want to spend the ridiculous sums asked for it...

Hi!
There's a 90s group called Classic Example, but the 70s girl & boy duo is different. I have their eponymous GSF album. It was produced by Mickey Stevenson and Curtis Colbert, who I think is the guy in the duo. Background voices are by "The Firm of Hodges, James, Smith & Crawford."
The lady could be H.Hurst.
The track listing is: That's Groovy/Without You/Punish Me/If You Wanna Love Me/Little By Little//We Got A Thing Going On/I Found Me A Girl/Hey There Little Girl/My Friend Heartaches/Just Another Lonely Night (GSF 1006; 1972).
I especially like A1,2,B5.
Best regards
Heikki
