H A P P Y BIRTHDAY CHAKA KHAN!!! Chaka is celebrating 51 yrs. young today. What??? I know that it is cliche, but it is true: "Black Don't Crack", especially when it is taken care of (LOL).
The VOICE, how can I put it in words. Miles Davis described it best, when he said, "her voice is like a horn". I have never seen Chaka or Rufus live, but when she comes back to the Bay Area, I will be there! I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't even imagine what the world be like if Chaka never existed! Thank God for giving us the GIFT, that is Chaka Khan. Charise, great tribute, ma, but try "Happy BirthDay Chaka Khan" next time!(smile!) I almost missed giving DIVA her shoutout because I didn't know what I was getting behind this curtain, so to speak...(smile!) You know, this is one mindblowing coincidence that Chaka Khan and Aretha celebrate birthdays just 2 days apart... Yes, I wanna thank them both for blowing their beautiful instruments with so much soul all these years...

Sorry, Isaiah (LOL), I said I got carried away, but I couldn't help myself! I had a Chaka/Rufus listening party on my personal headphones, listening to most of those songs at work on the 23rd (LOL). Music is my greatest addiction. Again, I apologize for making you almost forget what you were going to say!(smile)
