Since I have been on this board I have expressed my love and admiration for the group Tavares. I have been emailing Tiny Tavares for around 3-4 years and I have started a friendship with Chubby's new wife Ann who also co authored the groups autobiography.
I'm not sure how many of you know that 15 months ago,right before the book was released, Chubby's youngest son Jason was shot in cold blood in Florida. He was only 22 and left behind a baby boy.
I just received an email from Tiny today forwarded from one of his neices which said that this Saturday the crime will be profiled on America's Most Wanted on Fox. They know what the murderer looks like and they know where he "might" be hiding, but the family is trying their hardest to get this killer off the streets.
They are asking everyone to tune in see if they recognize this killer. Of course Chubby is devastated as anyone who loses a child would be.
I know there isn't much I can do, so all I am asking is for the forum to tune in this Saturday.

Where in Fla. did this happen?We are tired of violent criminals being turned out of our prisons, we've had quite a few high profile killings in our state recently where they find out the killers had long arrest records & short jail stints because of "feel good" judges.

I know EXACTLEY what you mean...I live in California and we have the same so called justice system over here!! It' sad. How many innocent young people have to die? A 12 year old was sot in LA the other day he was just sitting in frnt of his house and some idiot gang bangers started shooting at each other. Make you sick!

Please send Chubby & his family my condolences and I will watch this weekend.

Hopefully, his murderer will come to justice.
