I'm glad to hear that he's back. Many people forget that he gave a young lady named Cheryl Norton her start. She blossomed into Cherrelle, who gave us some pretty fair songs in the 80s.

Michael has stated that he "WAS" just chilling and raising his family in Las Vegas. Of late, he has done some solo dates...sometimes packaged with Jean Carne and Billy Paul, but his primary focus (recording and touring) has been "Children On The Corner"...the reformation of the Miles Davis band he was in.
