Hey Mark,

That would be Abe Tilmon & his grandkids have a very touching website, honoring him.

I didn't know that WeeGee Howard of The Dramatics had died. When did this happen, help me Medusa.

JuiceFree20 - I believe Wee Gee died in 2000 in New York, after which you guys sent him back to Detroit for the services.

Hey Sis, how are you? Thanks for the link Sis. This didn't get a lot of play here in N.Y. I'm sorry to hear that.

Where was this photo taken? Whose studio?

Top of pageBottom of page   By Jim G (152.163.253.70) on Saturday, March 20, 2004 - 04:50 pm:

The pic was taken by me at WDET, Sis. When I was out at a club (probably BoMac's or Bert's) I'd often drop by the station to hang out with Famous (usually didn't leave BoMac's until after 2). I got there early that eve.

I miss BoMac's. I'm glad Bert's is still here. These two places were happy places. Don't you just feel at home there?

Yeah, Harry and James were warm people, I loved that club and those guys and the incredible music...it was part of my family there at BoMac's Lounge, 281 Gratiot at Broadway.
I heard the police caught the son of a bitch who murdered Harry. Excuse the emotion, they caught the suspect for whom they were hunting. If he's found guilty as charged I hope he rots in jail.

Let's not forget Harry Bolling, co-owner of BoMac's Lounge when remembering Detroit music people.
Or Clarence Baker.

I'm happy to hear they caught that guy.
