She was THE voice for Sister Sledge and without her (when she went solo) it just wasn't the same anymore...

The cd features all four sisters. Kathy isn't doing as much leading as she did in the past but she sings the hell out of the jazz classic "When I Fall In love". I love her soulful rhaspy voice.

Thanks glencro... I just love Kathy's voice... it's funny that it was already her trademark when she was very young. It always had that grain in it, that made you think she was much older than she actually was...

Thanks for the latest on Sister Sledge. I'm glad to see that Kathy is back and the original quartet have come out with something new.

Last time I heard from Kathy it was in 1992 - she recorded "Take Me Back To Love Again" (which was remixed for the dance floor by Roger Sanchez) and a full length CD for Epic Records.

Wow, I didn't know...good to see Sister Sledge back together again. The sound bites sound very nice...a lot different from their older material but that's what growth is about. I just ordered my copy.
