ther is a uk tribute artist who claims to be related to the ruffin brothers ,all his adverts claim this ,i was talking about this to bobby in hospital ,he thinks this is utter bull,can anyone out there ,comfirm one way or another,mind you going back to adam and eve ,were all related ,so i suppose we can all claim a blood line ,all i have to do is change my name by deed poll ,and learn to sing ,dance etc that should take about 10 years if iam lucky

A Marvin Ruffin, who has a web site in the UK, who sings, is related to the late David Ruffin. Marvin is/was David's cousin.

Sue - You're right, Jimmy is Marvin's cousin also. (LOL) Eli Ruffin (Jimmy's father), has a brother, Benny, who lives in the Detroit area. Marvin is Benny's son, and Jimmy's first cousin. (According to Ruffin family sources)
