You may have clicked the "cancel Post" button. I did that once. Perhaps you should try again.

By all means try again. After writing your message at the bottom you will see a post message to click on to. That will do it. We would love to welcome you to this forum. Andrew has many fiends here.

Hi Clyde
I'm a big fan of yours. I hope you have time to post some information/stories about your career, as I would look forward to reading them. "Easy living" by the Hollidays is one of my girlfriend's favorite songs.
thanks,
Greg

Hello, to all. My name is April (Smith) Harvey, and I am the eldest daughter of the late Andrew Louis Smith.
Let me start off by saying, I hope this message finds each of you doing well. I am blessed. I was born in New Brunswick, NJ in 1980. I am now 21 years old and currently reside in Grand Rapids, MI, where I am a college student, pursuing my dream of becoming a biomedical engineer.
I'd like to thank you for posting all of the wonderful things you have to say about my father while he was alive. From what I've been told, he was indeed an outstanding musician and performer. I play piano at my church, but I know it's nothing in comparison to the skills of "the Great Andrew Smith". (Smiles.) I would also like
like to start playing the drums, but have not yet had the opportunity to learn how to do so. I feel like I'd be really good at it, hoping to follow in my father's footsteps, so to speak. We'll see.
I got the information about this website from my aunt Joetter, Andrew's sister in Tennessee. Now that I know it exists, I'm sure that I'll be visiting the website a lot more in the near future. Feel free to use my email address to contact me if you'd like. Any friends of my father are friends of mine. :-)
Be blessed,
April

Hi April,
Thank you for writing us. I took the liberty of moving your very nice letter from the Bob Babbitt 3 thread to one of your father's. I knew your father very well April. He was an extremely talented man that was loved by all who knew him. Once again, thank you for writing us.

Wow, I go on holiday and miss the visit by the great Steve Mancha.
Clyde, what a wonderful collection of 45s you have given to us!
Are you the Clyde Wilson who recorded 'Open Up'/'If You'll Be My Girl' on the SMC record label?
