Cal Norma and Bertha of the Velvelettes are currently recovering from wowing the crowds at Cleethorpes in June 2002..they still haven't got their breath back yet! Cal posted here on this site just yesterday. Millie is an ace medical person and can diagnose your illness AND tell you the technical name for the drug to sort you out before you even tell her the symptoms!! Betty Kelly is living on the West Coast and is doing well.
So that's the Velvelettes...

4 is my lucky number so I want to nominate someone real special for the 4th message on this thread....where are they now!!
And that someone has got to be Mr T3 himself...yeah...Sunliner, musician, studio owner, producer and regular drooling ladies admirer, Ralph Terrana. Ralph is now not only alive and kicking, he is a fully fledged member of the Soulful Detroit site and known to us all as Uncle Ralph as he does his best to keep us in check!
I know I give him the run around at times but he knows that I do it with a good heart.
From all of us here......
Guido, we loves ya!!

Highly spoken of in Detroit, is Mr Terrana.
I'm looking forward to meeting him there next year.
Thanks for everything Ralph.

David and John,
I am reading your kind words very early in the morning here. What a nice way to start my day.
This place is too much. You have all become such warm, close friends in a relativly short period of time. I feel as if I've known you forever. David, I am looking forward to this coming May. You're welcome to join us John.

GEEZ.....do I love this site, or what?? If it weren't for Ralph, my brother, I never would have known about SoulfulDetroit...not only is he one of my best friends, he's also someone who has a wealth of knowledge about all kinds of cool things! He's amazing and I love him...he has a brother who looks almost like him, but he doesn't visit the site as often as he should. Russ..remember the night at the Brown Derby in Hollywood with Frankie Valli??? I do!!! So...here's to Ralph and Russ...!

Millie,
I love you sweetie. This forum is a better place because of you Sista.

Nice pic, David! And Millie, I thought a Brown Derby was a doughnut with ice cream, chocolate sauce and nuts on the top. Must go, I'm feeling hungry!
