This should wake Graham up from his World Cup dream.
Apparently this was quite a record shop in it's day and was based at 3540 Chene on the East Side.
The type of place that Northern Soul fans would dream about, I think it traded for approx 35-40 years.
One things for sure there can't ever have been a better name for a record shop!

Ah, T-Baby. About three years ago a friend of mine bought out what remained of the store's old stock. Included were some nice Detroit pieces (the Shepherd Boy, for one), and lots of other cool 45s. I got a copy of Anna King's The Big Change, which remains one of my favorite records. The experience of going through those great remanants, and seeing photos like this one, always make me long for a time machine.

I think the owner was bought out a few years ago, lock stock and barrel.
