I have heard that Thom Bell is living in Seattle these days. Does anyone know if that is true and what he is up to these days?

Thom moved to Seattle in 1977 and we recorded quite an aray of songs including Elton John, the Ojays , Spinners ,MFSB and more at Kaye Smith studios . He also has a home in Hawaii.

I am gonna try to ring him up as we have not spoken in quite some time. I know that according to his Philly attorney, he was offered some work but has not accepted it!! That is not the Thom that I have come to know and love.

Vinnie Barrett ... Hey, do you remember a song you co-wrote with Johnnie Freeman entitled "Didn't We Make It" by the Broadway Express? That shoulda been a hit! One of the best slabs of Philly soul ever put to wax. Don't know a thing about the group though. Tremendous tune with great singing, strings & possibly the best placed ooh-ooh-ooh-ooooooh I've ever heard.
