Did George Clinton arranged the Stanley Winston track "It's alright" which was written and produced by S.Edwards/E.Harris flip side "No more Ghettos in America" written and produced by S.Edwards/E.Harris and released on Jewel Records SL-1637. The label says that G.Clinton arranged both songs. Is E.Harris Ernie Harris (Clinton's compagnon).

Hi Marcel,
Not the same George Clinton. This one was George C. Clinton a white guy who was later involved in Sound/City studios in Shreveport, Louisiana. He may also have been the same George Clinton who had a single called "Please Don't Run From Me"on ABC Records in the early 1970s.
E. Harris was Ebb K. Harris (also known as "Ebb Tide") who had been successful as producer of "Cryin' In The Streets" by George Perkins.

Add his name to the confusion inspired by George S Clinton, a composer and/or arranger of movie soundtracks....

Thanks, I thought so. That George C. Clinton was indeed the same person that had an album out entitled the George Clinton Band Arrives the single you mentioned came from this album. Later he became member of a group called Crackin' .
