Marcel; I don't hear any of those guys on there;Van Winkle played all the keys I'm sure-they use to play a lot around here (Mid-Michigan) circa 1970 a lot as a drums/keys duo. The basic track to that was cut at home in ann Arbor;United, and Gm studios in Detroit were used (engineers included Milan Bogdan and Ed Wolfrum!)The Female bkgrnd vocals are "Freedom Now"-none of whose names I recognise. In short,no P-Funk in the credits, but you know how those credits are. Here's one for you; The next Teegarden/VW lp "On Our Way" credits Garry Shider as co-writer of two songs (one with Bob Seger). Also, the Frut -formerly Frut of the Loom-lp from '71 credits Garry as co-writer of 2 songs also. Do you know if these are old United Soul tunes, face-to-face collaborations or what? Garry also co-writes all songs on the Catfish Hodge "Boogie Man.."lp produced by Calvin Simon.

Hi Marcel:
I will call Armin Boladian and ask him which Funkadelic were on the Teegarden & Van Winkle LP. Did you also know that David Van Winkle played on a couple Bob Seger LPs? Just thought I'd throw that little bit of trivia in there!! lol
Millie

Dear Millie,
Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure that Funkadelic did played on some of the album tracks. George was 100% convinced that they sang on God Love and Made Rock 'n Roll.
Van Winkle is a fantastic musician as Bob Seger is. Thanks.
