There I was sitting at home, boots off, beer open, when the phone rings and in an instant I am 35 years younger and talking about people who hadn't crossed my mind in too many years! Good ol' Millie, who never forgets who her true friends really are,and calls or sends me a Christmas card at least once a year, tells me about this great web site, and how all the musicians from way back when, get on and discuss how it was, and how it coulda been. Wow! Kind of overwhelming to see these names and start thinking about the old days of the Club Cliche', the Gay Haven, Rose bar, and on and on. And, Koveric, and "Mouse", and Babbit, Vern Parker, ( ke-riste! there was a guitar player!) Sammy Spano, Tony Valla and the Alamo's, and all the other's who come flooding back through the memory banks! Gil, Pete, Ralph and Russ, John Persh, and Rod Cox and me in the Sunliners back when people came to nite clubs to hear the bands and dance their collective asses off! The REALLY "good ol' days!"
