I have a original studio ampex tape of Eddie Hazel's version of Shakey Ground. Sly Stone is singing lead together with Eddie, Billy Bass is among the musicians as well. Does anybody has more info on this ?

Hi Marcel... Eddie released a solo version of this?? I assume if Sly's present, it wasn't for the Motown Tempts lp sessions, maybe I'm wrong? /ErikT.

Eddie never released this version. But it happen that I received this original studio master. I'm sure that it wasn't recorded for the Temps album.

Marcel, whatchu doin over here Dawg, they only allow one funkadelic-maggot at a time, so I guess I gotta go. I just did post something you hipped me to a little while back. Did you know which tune it was that Roy Handy cut for the Funkadelic label? I've also heard that Eddie has a solo LP he did for Motown finished and in the can but never released. Unbelieveable ... Give Up the Funk!! Speaking of Eddie - April 10th - Happy Birthday to the Maggot Brain, R.I.P.
