A pic of you and I at Golden World. You were looking mighty foxy there baby. David is David Meikle who, along with Lowell Boileau, created this magical place.
Alan Sussman called me the other nght and had me on the floor I was laughing so hard.
Have you seen him lately?
David....I also have a pic of Millie with Armon Boladian and Rosalie from CKLW.

Millie Vanillie...stick around. You have stories to tell these good people.
Should I tell them that I took you to your first X-rated movie because you were curious? OOOOPS...I guess I just did!

Hi everyone. I was in Northern California for four days, and the forum went crazy with old friends. First, Danny...you dog...of course I remember you. I sang with the band when you were with George, but only two days a week. Anyway, Billy moved to Ankorage, Alaska back in the mid 70's, and he has been teaching guitar, and playing in bands up there. I talked to him last year, when his daughter graduated from high school. I will have to call him to join up with the forum. Anyway, hi to Millie...yes we did have fun when you were here. As you probably know, we are having a reunion Sept. 6th. Have to tell Marge too. Next, Ian I loved the cassette...what a surprize when I got home. The music is fantasic..I don't know what I was expecting but, it was 1000% better than I anticipated. That is an incredible collection. I know that you put a lot of work into making that for me, and I feel very special because of it. Thank you...thank you.

I've booked my flight and will arrive in Toronto on Sept 3d. I'll drive down to Detroit for the "reunion" on the 6th - athough I've only met Dennis before!
I'm obviously looking forward to meeting you folks, having a few beers, and picking your brains about Detroit in the swinging 60s.
Best wishes from Taiwan, Graham

It was 6:30 AM in Alaska. Your wife was a real
sweetheart and very understanding. When we played together at the Driftwood Lounge, Joe Bethay's and the Grandale as the Teenbeats those were great times for me. If you ever come back to
Michigan make sure you call me. Not only were
you a great friend, you're a great Guitarist.

If your looking for an old one, before I had a link called "DeAnne" I used to post on Bluespower...there's some old photos there. Billy, I wish you and Maureen could come to Detroit in September, I would love to sing with you again...we spent a good 17 years together. Love you.

Hi DeAnne - it's almost a small world. The TV station I work for has just broadcast 'live darts' from Las Vegas over the w/end just gone. I was speaking to one of the OB engineers on the talk back about Motown and you!! They must have thought I was crazy, but I was wondering whether you might have been performing at the Hotel the transmission came from! Darts - can you believe it?

Yes it is a small world, Carl....I believe the dart tournament was held at the Riviera....This coming Friday night, I will be performing at the Fiesta Hotel and Casino...depending on who was filming darts, I might have known them. Which TV station do you work for???

DeAnne - I work for BSKYB, in London! I am not certain whether that darts tournament was aired in the US. It was a London based technical crew sent over there to do it! BSKYB's sister station in the US is FOX Television. We actually transmit Fox News over the UK as well as our own UK news service. The Las Vegas television contractors are very efficient, well, the ones that we use anyway. I think they enjoy working with us,as we always seem to have a laugh solving any technical problems that are an issue. I remember the year before last we covered the US Open from Flushing Meadows. We downlinked at least 4 seprate video carriers, here in London, but once lined up had time to spare before the transmission. I asked the sound supervisior to play music rather than tone as an ident and that way we would definatley know it was them - especially after he confirmed that his musical tastes were similar to mine. So for the next week or so, we were privilaged to hear wonderful soul music on all the carriers. This also meant that the other European takers enjoyed it too! It certainly is a small world - I was asking the Darts crew to keep an eye out for you and say hello if they could. It would be funny to witness 'Hi DeAnne, I work for bla bla bla, in Vegas, but I have a message for you from London!!'
