I think it's worth mentioning Funk Sister Bobbi Hall. Bobbi played congas and was used on many of the sessions around Detroit. From what I remember, Bongo Eddie didn't do anything but Motown dates and Bobbi was used on many of the non-Motown sessions.Jack, Babbitt and Dennis would remember her. If memory serves me correctly, Bobbi was one little bad ass conga player.

Hi Ralph. Bobbi is a good conga player. I did sessions with her in Detroit and LA. I also did a session with her and the rest of the Motown kats and Rudy Robinson last spring at Pac 3. Bobbi still plays some funky congas.
