When I was a teenager Jerry O's Karate Boo Ga Loo was issued in England and was a big R&B seller, he even aquired a cult following. Adey C at Ace / Kent records even had some Jerry O T shirts printed up in the early 80's. I know there is reference to him in Robert Pruters book BUT I want to know about his relationship with Detroit, in particular Motown and Popcorn Wiley, his `Cool Off` track ended up with Mr Murray in Chicago. Also Popcorn's name appears on the tracks that are used in both cities. In the 80s I heard some unissued Motown tracks and one of these Boo Ga Loo backings was amongst them. Finally does anyone own Tom & Jerrio- `OOL YA - COO` / `Bacardi` ABC 10787??? If so is it one of those basic permutations of the Boo Ga Loo tracks that underpins about 8 or so Jerry O 45s?? Keith
