For Steve the Count, From another thread you had mentioned the Old and Gold show and that brings this post on the Gigolos thread.
One night while surfing the FM dial I heard a show hosted by Jim Petrat and he was playing Black and Blue by the Gigolos. From that moment on up until 1997 when I move out of the listening area Sunday night was Old and Gold night along with Bob's Wednesday Starburst show.
It refreshing to see you are involved in keeping the show on WDTR and the support that Sal and Dotty and Bob have given Jamie Coe and the Gigolos.
Maybe some of you may remember Bob had Featured Jamie Coe and the Gigolos on his Starburst Program.Just maybe you and Bob could feature that show again for the listeners.
Thanks for the great flashback memories.

Hey Dave and Pam,YOU KNOW WHAT(what)You Tickle Me Baby.I've been hoping to see you at either our Kruise nites or Jamies,but we are usually at different places at the same time,if that makes sence,like yea,I know Jack and Desro,we went to different jails together.Thanx for the kind words PAM,and I will try to get to all who posted messages to me under different conversations.Times have really been "CONTUMULOUS"lately,so darn busy.But now the woodward kruise is over,I'll be a little more less R.P.M.(revolutions per minute).As to our kruise nite at Buffalo wings,yes Jamie was there,which he frequintly appears,I keep a cd on hand which I put together besides the one MARILYN did and I give it to DOO-WOP Dan to play.After our opening KONTINENTALS theme,which LEE ALAN made for us,I had DAN play "BLACK and BLUE,then CLEOPATRA,then THE FOOL,just a coincidence,here comes Jamie,so we gave him the spotlite(and a full moon).The folowing week,we had LEE ALAN there with us,and we are a distributor of his "Back in the 60"s again CD"s,and he was signing them along with other LEE ALAN things.He took time to talk on the mike to all the fans of his and answered every question and had the FINE TONED HORN with him for all to see and hear.We made LEE a honorary member of "THE KONTINENTALS,The Doo-Wop Kruisers,and we are so proud and honored to have him and he was thrilled to be inducted,and he was having a great time being there with us and all the people and great KARS and Music.I was in FERNDALE with LEE at the Dream Kruise with LEE and the KONTINENTALS and we were the featured KAR KLUB with LEE and provided LEE with all the kars he needed,we had a ball working with LEE and helping him and his wife NANCY,along with his crew out.What a wonderful bunch of people.We even got JACK and JOYCE to bring the PROWLER to our ,reserved location by LEE in the medeian at 9ine and Woodward.We will be doing KRUISE KNIGHTS at EMMONS on TUES.and LEE will be with us from time to time as we sell and promote the cd"s,so come when you can.Phil,the owner said to come on FRI.orSAT. nites also and sit in on drums and do some D00_WOP with the band and the other 4our guys in the KLUB that we DOO-WOP with.Dave,Nick,and others also come in and sit in.This is going to be another fun spot,and sounds like a Jam session could break out at any time on week ends,Hope George the KAT can make it some nite also. PHIL SCIBERRAS,owner and operator...PAM,in one of your postings,you listed things about MICHIGAN.One thing I would like to know is,what is the state flower? one day in class,the teacher was on the subject all things MICHIGAN,and I had my eyes down on my desk reading a "HOT ROD" magizine,and the teacher thought I was sleeping and said "STEVE,wake up and tell the class what the state flower is,I said RHUEBARB,so I still dont know what it is.And I always thought "Spanish Fly was the state insect.

Happy to hear you had such a good time with Lee at the DreamCruise. I would have been there but I was in Las Vegas. I did however, listen to Keener 13 on the internet! Saw DeAnne and Eddie on Saturday which was a lot of fun. They'll be here in two more weeks and we'll all be meeting up at the Clawson as everyone probably knows by now!
