That sure would be great if she were to attend along with Mary Wilson. We all know tht Mary has been working so diligently on this project. Her website is not bad. Also, I hope tht maybe one of Florence's daughters could attend to represent Flo posthumously.

One of the geratest times I had with Diana was in New York when she did the "Diana Ross Live In Central Park" I was told that 800,000 people attended the first night. A big storm shut down the show about 20 minutes into the show, so we did a second night, with about 500,000 people. The show was broadcasted live on Showtime and sent to 17 various contries around the world. I did the audio for the broadcast and later back in L.A. did a final mix for the re-runs.

John, I had been meaning to ask that one for some time.but i had been too embarassed as i know there are still some anti-disco elements out there.
I think that rodgers/edwards are one of the best and most underatted writers/producers of that era, they were also one of the most influencial.
There is the question of whether their own mix of 'diana' will ever become available, as legend has it that the boss had the whole album remixed by motown without the consent of the producers.

I got a call from Suzanne DePass and asked if I could come to the office to listen to an album of Diana's. I was busy in the studio so she came over with the album. She wanted me to remix the entire album and do whatever I felt necessary. It was a good challange, and I do love challanges. I never entended to step on anyones toes, I only wanted to present what I felt was the best for the project. I understand a lawsuit was almost surved because of the remix, but when the album was released and hit number 1 almost over night,as well as the single "Upside Down" It seemd everyone was happy. Naturally, no lawsuit was filed after that.
