i bought more northern soul memories ,bargain it was 2 cds £5.99 cat no piecd 281,one track stood
out was a fella called rosey jones ,this starts out a bit like the weather girls going into what
sounds like the t s o p track by mfsb,the tracks called have love will travel ,info on artist and recording details ,is this a use of a philly backing track like angie stones wish has done
also on the album on disk 2 is a track called,your my one weakness by street people
is this a bert couax production?

The Street People track was from either DeLite
or Vigor (essentially the same company anyway)
I'll have to check but I'd guess the producer
was Ray Dahrouge who was the leader of the group.

Ray Dahrouge is one very interesting guy! He and Billy Terrell were writing partners for many years and worked with the likes of Daryl Stewart, the Anderson Brothers, Street People, etc. Ray was a memeber of Ray and the Darchaes who recorded for Aljon. Billy Terrell now does stand up comedy. Both are from New Jersey.
