On the Brenda Holloway thread I've referred to the Love Line track as 'Staunton & Walker do Smokey'. However most of their released productions are much more dense, so much so I've come to think of them as the Phil Spectors of Motown.

I expected this to be "Staunton & Walker sing The Beach Boys". But, instead, this is more like "Staunton & Walker sing Frankie Avalon"!!! . The Staunton-Walker-Dobyne "Hit Pack" could have been called "The Three Roberts". I like their songs they wrote for Okeh Records best [[especially The Artistics).
